Where can I collect money?

Online sponsorship sites - Virgin Money Giving, JustGiving or BT Mydonate are really quick to set up and any donations through your page will come directly to us.

Paper sponsorship forms - if you want to collect money offline, email us at fundraising@lymphoma-action.org.uk and we will send you some sponsorship forms in the post or by email.

How can I fundraise?

Social media is great for telling your story about your fundraising challenge. If you’re fundraising online, how about using Facebook to share your fundraising page link, tweet to update on your training progress or capture those challenging early starts and the excitement on the day on Instagram. Make sure to be persistent with asking for donations – try posting at different times of the day and just before and after your fundraising event.

Your workplace or school are ideal places to raise money. Let your colleagues or classmates know about your fundraising challenge, put up posters of you training and talk about Lymphoma Action. Cake sales always go down a treat – get baking and make sure to bring a sponsorship form along with you.

Your local club or sports centre are other great places to promote your fundraising event and raise money. Take along a sponsorship form and tell your group about what you’re getting up to.

How do I train for this event?

Training requires lots of hard work and mental toughness, as well as things like the right kit, but it will be worth all the effort in the end. The better prepared and fitter you are, the more you will get out of your challenge.
