Go Purple for World Lymphoma Day!
World Lymphoma Day - part of Blood Cancer Awareness Month - is on Thursday 15 September and we would love you to go purple for the day to raise awareness of lymphoma and raise lots of purple pounds for people affected. We’ve got loads of ideas to start you off - just remember, the more purple, the more pounds!

Organise a Purple Clothes Day or fancy dress at school, at work or virtually and ask people to donate to take part. Make it more interesting by providing a prize for the most prolific purple person!
Speak to your favourite local restaurant about our Purple Plates scheme and encourage them to partner up with us for a great cause. Or host a virtual Purple Plates at Home dinner party and ask your friends to pay for their meal – or make a donation towards it!
Hold a virtual Purple Party or virtual disco - decorate your house purple (visit our online shop to grab some balloons and banners), invite your friends through
For your party, prepare a Purple Playlist and request a donation to play a song - here’s two to start you off, see how many more you can come up with!

For something a little different, why not make it a Purple Pyjama Party!
Host a Purple Quiz and set an entry fee to take part. If you’re feeling inspired why not write your own questions, otherwise download our quiz and have fun as the quizmaster!
Take a Purple Plunge in your local swimming pool or a leisurely Purple Plod around the park and get sponsored for your efforts (set up a free JustGiving page to collect your donations).
Hold a Purple Bake Sale and showcase your amazing skills by turning your cakes purple.
Relax with a Purple Pamper Party and ask your guests to pop in a pound whilst being pampered. Raffle off some goodies to raise further funds.
Dye your hair purple for a day, or if you’re feeling brave do it for a month and ask friends and colleagues to sponsor you for every day you stay that way!
