Purple fundraising

Have fun and help us raise lots of purple pounds for people affected by lymphoma with your very own fundraising event. We’ve got loads of ideas to start you off - just remember, the more purple, the more pounds!

Organise a Purple Clothes Day at school or work and ask people to donate to take part. Make it more interesting by providing a prize for the most prolific purple person!

Speak to your favourite local restaurant about our new Purple Plates scheme and encourage them to partner up with us for a great cause. Or host a Purple Plates dinner party yourself and ask your friends to pay for their meal – or make a donation towards it!

Hold a Purple Party - decorate your house purple (visit our online shop to grab some balloons and banners), invite your friends round and charge them to come in.

For your party, prepare a Purple Playlist and request a donation to play a song - here’s two to start you off, see how many more you can come up with!

  • Violet Hill - Coldplay
  • Purple Rain - Prince and the Revolution

For something a little different, why not make it a Purple Pyjama Party

Host a Purple Quiz and set an entry fee to take part. If you’re feeling inspired why not write your own questions, otherwise download our quiz and have fun as the quizmaster!

Take a Purple Plunge in your local swimming pool or a leisurely Purple Plod around the park and get sponsored for your efforts (set up a free JustGiving page to collect your donations).

Hold a Purple Bake Sale and showcase your amazing skills by turning your cakes purple.

Relax with a Purple Pamper Party and ask your guests to pop in a pound whilst being pampered. Raffle off some goodies to raise further funds.

Dye your hair purple for a day, or if you’re feeling brave do it for a month and ask friends and colleagues to sponsor you for every day you stay that way!

Organise a Purple Collection - contact us for more information on how to run public collections and we’ll give you all the help you need.

Whatever you do, don’t forget to share your Purple Pictures with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #PurpleFundraising.
