Meeting overview

The Royal Marsden and The Institute of Cancer Research National Clinical and Scientific Haemato-Oncology Meeting comprises a unique 2 days of plenary clinical and scientific lectures, accredited by the Royal College of Pathologists for 14 CPD/CME study hours.


The fee to attend is only £60 for both days and includes access to an exclusive evening drinks reception with canapés at PJ's Bar & Grill - a great chance to network with colleagues from the UK and beyond. We're also excited to announce that Copenhagen based consultant Dr Martin Hutchings will be presenting a guest lecture on the 'Positioning of novel agents in the management of Hodgkin lymphoma'.

 

Getting to the Royal Marsden Conference Centre

The Royal Marsden Education and Conference Centre is situated in Stewart’s Grove, London, SW3.

  • The nearest underground is South Kensington, about five minutes walk away. South Kensington is served by the District, Circle and Piccadilly Lines. Victoria main line station is two stops away.
  • Buses 14, 345 and 49 pass the hospital or have stops within easy reach.
  • Please note that the Hospital is unable to offer car parking facilities and that apart from a few metered bays, on-street parking in the central zone is prohibited.

Focus on Hodgkin Lymphoma - additional evening activities

We have added two additional guest lectures on Monday 5th November to 'Focus on Hodgkin Lymphoma'

  • 17.15 – 17.30 Genetic susceptibility and risk of second cancer in Hodgkin lymphoma, Dr Amit Sud, Academic Clinical Fellow, Royal Marsden and Institute of Cancer Research
     
  • 17.30 – 18.15 Guest Lecture: Positioning of novel agents in the management of Hodgkin lymphoma, Dr Martin Hutchings, Consultant Haematologist, Copenhagen University Hospital


There will also be a networking drinks reception with canapes at PJ’s Bar and Grill: 18.30 – 20.00, 52 Fulham Road, London. SW3 6HH

 

Accommodation

We have a limited allocation of hotel rooms available to book at a preferential rate at the Holiday Inn Kensington High Street. The rate for a double room is £137 (sole occupancy, with breakfast) or £147 (if two people share, with two breakfasts).
