About the course
Due to an ageing population and a relatively increased incidence in lymphoma in the elderly, more and more of our patients are over the age of 60. Whilst we are seeing exciting advances in the management of lymphoma, many of these treatments remain out of reach to our older patients, who are less likely to tolerate more toxic therapies, or be eligible for clinical trials.
This third meeting of the South Central Lymphoma Forum will focus on those issues specifically affecting older patients, including management of treatment-related toxicity, frailty assessment and holistic care.
Who should attend?
This free evening meeting will provide lectures from leading UK lymphoma experts and networking with haematology and lymphoma colleagues from across the south of England. The content is primarily aimed at medics but all members of the lymphoma/haematology-oncology MDT are welcome.
Attendance is free of charge and includes a buffet dinner.
