December Special Focus Support Meetings
Published on: 21 November 2024Our first meeting in December will focus on mindfulness, and our second will discuss the subject of sleep difficulties.
Our first Special Focus Meeting in December will take place online on Monday 2 December at 6.30pm and will discuss mindfulness and the ways to create space for yourself, particularly over the festive season. We will be joined by consultant counselling psychologist Angela Waind, who will talk about managing any stress or anxiety the festive season and New Year may bring. The meeting will also provide the opportunity to ask general questions and meet with others who share similar experiences.
On Thursday 12 December, our second Special Focus Meeting will focus on difficulty sleeping. Join us online from 11am to hear Dr Mike Scanlan, lecturer in mental health, talk about the subject of sleep difficulties. Dr Scanlan will also answer any questions you may have if lymphoma is impacting on your sleep and there will be the opportunity to talk to others who have similar experiences and share hints and tips that may improve your sleep.
