Share your views and experiences of supporting a loved one through lymphoma.

A diagnosis of lymphoma can have a significant impact, not only for the person living with the condition, but also on those close to them. In some cases, a relationship can change from partner, spouse, parent, child or friend into a more carer-like role, even if it’s just for a short time.

We would like to hear about your experiences of accessing information and support for yourself as someone supporting a loved one with a lymphoma diagnosis, and invite you to complete our online family, friends and carers survey.

Please be assured that our survey is anonymous, so please do share as much detail as you are happy to around how you have been personally affected by the lymphoma diagnosis of someone close to you. This impact could be:

  • Practical (for example, attending appointments, changes in household tasks, changes to work or finances).
  • Physical (for example, changes in your routine, feeling tired or exhausted).
  • A change in relationship dynamics (for example, taking on a different role in your relationship).
  • Emotional (for example, managing the impact on your own feelings, and expectations for your life and the future).

Please complete our online family, friends or carers survey and share your views.

Don’t forget that we are here to support you as a carer for someone living with lymphoma. Our information book When someone close to you has lymphoma covers practical tips and emotional support when caring for someone affected by the condition, and we have a dedicated monthly Family, Friends and Carers Support Meeting  which offers the chance to meet others who care for and support someone with lymphoma.  Our Closed Facebook Support Group brings people living with lymphoma and family members and friends together, and our Helpline Services team can also be contacted by phone, email or Live Chat for information and emotional support.
