World Lymphoma Awareness Day

World Lymphoma Awareness Day (WLAD) is held on 15 September every year during Blood Cancer Awareness Month.

It is an initiative led by the Lymphoma Coalition, which we co-founded, and aims to raise public awareness about lymphoma symptoms, early diagnosis and treatment, as well as the wider impacts of living with lymphoma.

Every year we join the global lymphoma community online to share lymphoma stories, facts and support. But we can’t do it alone! We need your help to get the message out there. Every social media post, like, comment and share makes a difference.

Download our graphics and templates below and join us by sharing them on social media during September and especially on 15 September. Use the hashtags #WorldLymphomaAwarenessDay #WLAD2025 and #LetsTalkLymphoma to increase the reach of your post and tag us too so we can share!

Honest Talk

The 2025 theme for World Lymphoma Awareness Day is Honest Talk.

Being diagnosed with lymphoma can be overwhelming – physically, emotionally, personally and professionally. According to the Lymphoma Coalition’s 2024 Global Patient Survey, 67% of people living with lymphoma report emotional effects like anxiety, depression and fear of the cancer coming back or getting worse. Yet many aren’t talking to their healthcare teams or seeking support.

The Lymphoma Coalition has created four resources to empower people affected by lymphoma to have the conversations that matter. Click on the bullets below to get these printable postcards that can be shared with your medical team, employer or loved ones — a small but powerful step toward more honest, supportive conversations.

•    Emotions and feelings
•    Discussing a diagnosis or prognosis
•    Returning to work
•    Carers support
