Lymphoma Action is delighted to be partnering with Prospectus, a specialist recruitment practice, in the recruitment of this key role.
This is an exciting time to join Lymphoma Action, leading an award-winning directorate. As Director of Services, your primary focus will be to strategically lead and develop Lymphoma Action's support services to meet the needs of those affected by lymphoma and the healthcare professionals that work with them. This is an integral role for the charity, and as such you will be an active member of the Senior Management Team in driving strategic direction and management of their service delivery function, whilst also providing thought leadership on service delivery, development, innovation and inclusion. In addition, you will also support the charity by managing changes brought on by COVID-19 and build on the digital development which was accelerated by the pandemic.
To be successful, you will be an inspiring and empowering leader, with previous experience of operating at a strategic level, working in a senior role within a charitable, support service or services delivery environment. The ability to develop effective relationships will be key, and therefore you must have previous experience of managing teams and building relationships internally, as well as influencing and building relationships with external stakeholders. Finally, knowledge and/or experience of monitoring, evaluating and good impact measurement is essential, as is experience of addressing complex and challenging issues, preferably in a health care or related field.
